Defining Moments

How I responded to discouragement

  • THE NOISE

    Messages from Society in general:

You need a degree to get a good paying job, must have a degree to get anywhere in life.

  • How I responded:

Stay positive and focused, a Military background will provide you with experience over someone with just a degree. But you are going to need Certifications of accomplishments to be attractive to employers and competitive with the the labor force. Know what your goals are and keep them in reach, strive for your education if you don't have one, and seek out resources along the way!
